I long for the moment in which my lips will be reunited with the cosmic trail imprinted on your shoulders. My tongue will dance over the golden drops of stardust carved on those shoulders. I long for the moment in which my chin will meet again the thicke spinosity of your beard. Seeking through its thorns, my mouth will unravel the sacred path to the unbearable softness of yours. Then I will swim among the delicate warmth of its inner pond, for there’s a hidden heaven inside your mouth, a world of sweetness that embraces all I am and all I hope to became. On its deck, I roll on a lake of mild maple syrup. I dive. An entity that professes affection and causes the purest delight, rises to greet me, to welcome me, to guide me further into its depth. And I fall into the loveliest abyss, arms wide open, eyes sternly closed, firmely sure that you’ll catch me. Those two hands, like parachutes, enwrap me and put me back on my feet. Your fingers tangled in mine, while my nose searches for a resting refugee, only found in your collarbone. One of my hands crosses your chest, awaits in there, scans through it and finds your heart. I am mesmerized by the beauty of your sparkling heart. On the tip of my feet, I rise so that my lips can meet the life on your neck; so that I caress the vein on which your life pulses harder. Under my palm, life throbbs on your chest. It overwhelms me, brings me to an edge where words don’t mean a thing. I’ll say it all when my eyes reunite with yours.
